The Day I Walked the Stage — And Life Didn’t Slow Down

Hello, it’s been some time.

The last time I posted here, I wrote about the final semester — the madness, the preparations, the hopeful dreams of mentoring mentorship, and the feeling that something big was going to start soon.
Well… it started. Just not in the way I envisioned.

🎓 Convocation Happened. But Closure Didn’t.

A few weeks ago, I graduated.
I posed for pictures smiling.
I connected with old friends, who felt like the old me.
I heard my name called one last time, in an auditorium that wasn't homes.
It was supposed to be an end.
The truth was, it felt like a pause, before the faster course of going.

🚀 Life After College: No User Manual

When I graduated from BIT Mesra, I thought I had completed the hardest part of my journey.
I quickly learned that in the "real world," deadlines are black and white, with no grace marks.
You already know some parts of this journey:
  • I hopped into the madness as an intern at Urban Company
  • Stumbled, learned, built myself back up
  • Experienced some order in the chaos of daily life
  • Expressed my true feelings, and got offered a full-time role
  • Went back to my hometown "stronger," or at least that’s what I thought
What I didn’t share at the time was that:
Growing is exciting on paper, but really tiring to do.
It is nice to have ownership over a team, metrics, and to develop an entire category -- fulfilling work? Sure!
Does it feel good for my mental health? Not so much.
Some nights I went to bed proud of my accomplishments, others I felt like I was questioning everything.

🎢 A Rollercoaster I Didn’t See Coming

There’s a strange speed to post-college life.
You don’t realize how fast you’re moving until you’re too tired to look back.
I stopped writing.
Paused reading.
Skipped reflection.
Told myself I was “busy building.”
But maybe, sometimes, we’re just busy running.

✍️ That’s What I’m Doing Here Again

I want to take things slow - with consciousness, not ambition.
To write again. To try to think out loud. To attempt to shape this chaos before it escalates into noise.
To share, not as someone who has “figured” it out - but as someone who is still building quietly one block at a time.
Yes, I have new things in queue.
Yes this blog will evolve, perhaps with reflections, perhaps with stories from work, perhaps with the frameworks which I use every day.
No big announcement of anything yet but wheels are turning.

🍃 If You’re Somewhere In-Between Too…

Between student and professional.
Between certainty and confusion.
Between running and resting.
You’re not late. You’re just human.

🚀 So, Here’s to Chapter Next

Not louder.
Not faster.
But deeper.
More intentional.
I’m back — not with a “big reveal” this time.
But with a promise to write the journey while I’m still in it.
Let’s begin again — slowly, and maybe this time, more honestly.
